Dr. M Saravanan

Dr. Saravanan is a Pulmonologist from Tirunelveli, one of the second largest districts in Tamil Nadu. He holds speciality in key areas like Paediatric Pulmonology, Interventional Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Saravanan’s educational qualifications comprise of MBBS, MD (Chest Medicine) degrees and completion of Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health (DCH) which have been achieved from Thanjavur Medical College, Madras Medical College and Kilpauk Medical College respectively. However, the praiseworthy feat that deserves special mention is that Dr. Saravanan delivered an exceptional performance in his MD examinations and for which he was honoured with three gold medals.

Dr. Saravanan also has overseas training to his credit - this includes training in Medical Thoracoscopy at Nord Hospital, Marseille, France under the tutelage of Prof. Phillipe Astoul, a Pulmonologist of global repute.
